NUCLEER™ transparent optical composite technology has an almost
unlimited number applications across a broad range of industries
The NUCLEER™ optical composite is 30% clearer than glass, a third lighter than glass and 40 times stronger than glass. NUCLEER™ also has superior thermal and acoustic properties whilst also being able to be manipulated into almost an a required shape without losing its strength or clarity.
Panels are bonded using a our proprietary resin (NC007). It is this bonding process that enables the product to be bent, and makes NUCLEER™ stand out from the competition. The resultant product is superior to glass in almost every respect, but it is also more cost effective to produce than comparative glass, which means that NUCLEER™ can be specified in a construction project at a similar price point to glass and deliver significant added benefits.
NuCleer PowerPlus. NuCleer Group is investing in further Research and Development to fully develop our technologically advanced additive that will transform the NuCleer optical Composite panel into a photovoltaic cell. These panels will generate electricity from light energy passing through the cells which is transmitted to a storage medium, such as the Tesla PowerWall. All the benefits of our NuCleer optical Composite panel with the game changing addition of clean, green, free energy. Imagine commercial buildings, domestic dwellings and electric vehicles creating energy via their external glazing. Just two examples of the many exciting applications of this advanced technology.

Commercial Glasshouses
With NUCLEER’s ™ thermal properties far exceeding that of traditional glass, it’s the smart choice for efficient glasshouse operations. Combine the glasshouse design with NUCLEER’s ™ up-coming PowerPlus and you get free electricity*. Enough to power: some LED lighting which can be built into the NUCLEER ™ Optical Composite sheets: soil heaters to accelerate plant growth: or small irrigation pumps. With NUCLEER’s ™ advantages over glass, it’s the obvious choice. Potentially a self-sufficient glasshouse unit that can be placed just about anywhere in the world.
Bus Shelters
Bus shelters, with their large glass areas, have always been a point of vandalism even when fitted with safety glass. NUCLEER™ is virtually unbreakable and will not smash! Even after a severe beating it will only crack, reducing completely the danger to the public of broken glass on the ground.
Architects and Building developers
NUCLEER™ is a third lighter that comparable glass, so the weight savings alone on any building design will be a significant factor that will excite architects, engineers and developers. When used commercially, NUCLEER™ with its strength and weight saving will allow for greater freedom of design and inspiration that currently architects are not able to utilise due to the limitations of traditional glass.
NUCLEER will change the way we think about engineering and construction.
